My dream project, The Eco sheroes Podcast, is up and live :)

THE ECO SHEROES PODCAST IS LIVE :)

My much-awaited dream project, The Eco-sheroes Podcast, is up and live! We already have three podcast episodes published for you to hear. Sustainability should not be boring and a moral activity to pursue. This podcast is an attempt to share the stories of how and why so many people, including myself, are adopting this lifestyle, the benefits we are reaping out of these practices, the struggles we face, social equality, women empowerment, and so much more.

In the first episode, our first guest explains her journey to embracing this lifestyle by forming small, consistent habits. In the second episode, I discuss the story of my first eco-friendly transition, my struggle to adopt this change, the myths surrounding it, and the benefits of adopting this small change. In the third episode, I tried to throw some light on the ugly truth about cooking in refined oils! You will be shocked to know how these oils are refined just to increase their shelf life!!

There is a trailer episode to explain what this podcast is about too.

You can listen to the podcast HERE :)

Can we look attractive and presentable with an ecominimalist wardrobe?

Well the answer is YES :)

This year, no new clothes for me!

Have you been buying the latest collections and new trends lately? Frankly speaking, even if we binge-buy eco-friendly fabrics, second-hand clothes, or the so-called "conscious" collections from famous fast fashion brands, it can be a mental distraction, cause anxiety to have the latest trend in clothes, and be a drain on our wallets.

Furthermore, adding more stuff to my wardrobe causes too much anxiety for me! Even though I have a limited collection of clothes in my wardrobe, I am always confused about what to wear. Many of us have this dilemma and always feel like we have nothing to wear when our wardrobe is overflowing with clothes!

So here's a simple hack that works for me to be both presentable and eco-conscious:
If clothes are taken care of properly, they can last for ages!
I made a small Instagram Reel to explain this. You can watch it HERE!

To get started with being eco-conscious,

1. I stopped stressing about what to buy to keep up with the latest trends.

2. I just bought clothes when needed and what is comfortable for me.

3. I believe that buying less to begin with is a good start, and when you pass this test, you will realize how much money you saved.

4. Then upgrade to choosing the right eco-friendly fabrics from genuine eco-conscious businesses that have fair trade policies. This way, the money is equally distributed in society, and the hardworking artisans who make our beautiful clothes get paid well and are taken care of.
